Language learning, children’s literacy, cultural knowledge, education and professional services require different kinds of expertise. Afaan keeps those roles explicit and publishes named profiles only after the person’s title, institution, project role and permission are confirmed.

The same care applied to language and learning extends to profiles, account security, payment and membership controls.
Recorded language is paired with readable text and meaning.
Younger learners use adult-managed profiles that are never public.
Adults control profiles, assignments, purchases and household access.
Children’s learning is not supported by advertising.
Authentication is handled through Amazon Cognito.
Web card details stay with Stripe; supported in-app purchases are managed by Apple.
Production prices, billing cadence and taxes are explained before checkout.
Cancelling stops renewal; access continues according to the provider’s subscription end date.

Yes. The native-audio phrase, sample lesson, public phrasebook and Qubee challenge are available without a credit card. An account is needed to save progress and unlock paid access.
The current children’s pathway is designed for ages 3–18. A parent or legal guardian creates the adult account and controls each private child profile.
Yes. Digital School includes organization pathways, reviewed course publishing and structured programs. Institutional pricing is arranged according to the program rather than through the individual checkout.
Grammar, literacy, vocabulary and sentence-building material exists within current learning pathways. The expanded public research library is planned and is marked Coming soon.
The public experience supports English, Afaan Oromoo, Amharic, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish.
Children use private profiles controlled by a parent or legal guardian. There are no public child profiles or advertisements for children. The Privacy page explains the current safeguards.
